On to Mazatlan in 4 weeks!! That's Kelly in the corner ... demonstrating how to pick up a shot glass of tequila. Making plans … checking out excursions … buying new shorts (dryer shrank the last ones I had) ... maybe check out the local real estate for a retirement home … So, spent the weekend watching the Genesis PGA tournament … the Canadian that won at Pebble Beach last week … didn’t make the cut. Tiger Wood did … and then blew up good … real good. Interesting tidbit … Woods … who has won over 80 PGA tournaments … and is the host of the Genesis Tournament … has never won there … and won’t this weekend either 
. Adam Scott, an Australian, ending up winning – hmm, Canadian week 1, Australian week 2 .... Only 1 new recipe up this week (Boeuf Bourguignon (if you’re fancy, beef stew if you’re not) ) Ate a lot of leftovers this week (freezer was over-loaded) and some old standbys – steak and kidney pie, chicken curry, roast beef … the usual stuff. It was cold this weekend, with the occasional spring like temperatures – very strange winter so far. On Netflix Finished ‘Fallet’ (Swedish and English – 8 episodes) … Started ‘Maniac’ (Norwegian with English Subtitles – 10 episodes) a rather strange comedy about a man in a psychiatric hospital with many fantasies – sort of a cross between One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and Walter Mitty- and ‘Victim Number 8’ (Spanish with English Subtitles – 10 episodes) … I like it – interesting police thriller that takes place mainly in Bilbao – the Basque area of Spain - after a Jihadist Terrorist attack. It has three story lines; star-crossed lovers; crooked cops; and murderous family relations. Hey, just finished watching the last episode last night – didn’t see that ending coming, and a teaser that there might be a Season 2!!. And … wait for it … Narcos Mexico – Season 2 has just debuted on Netflix!! Season 1 was excellent … and got Kelly and I started on the whole Netflix drug cartel tv series binge … (we have a great idea for an El Chapo Tour T-shirt … El Salvador, Panama, Columbia, Guatemala, Sinaloa (oh, yeah …. where Mazatlan is located ) … the usual tourist places) … so even though we know what happened to Felix … and where El Chapo came in … we’re going to have to watch!! Have a great week … go … ‘Leafs … go !! (note to Sheldon Keefe after watching Leafs / Dallas game … your players … can … not … give up … 3 goals … in 1 minute 32 seconds)
