The last couple of weeks have been busy. Busy, busy, busy.

The problem with starting a blog, and especially food blogs, is that you should really have about a dozen recipes and / or articles to begin with. Now, I’ve cooked a lot – and I make supper 4 or 5 times a week – and I usually take pictures of the steps along the way and the completed dishes, and of my helper – Zeke Einstein Kevin Edward, AKA  Zeke the Dog. So, I thought, okay, I’ll write up the recipes, attach the pictures, do the posts … easy, right? Wrong … I couldn’t find any pictures of what I was planning to make this month.

So, long story short … make the dishes, take new pictures, write up the recipes … busy, busy, busy. However, we have eaten pretty well lately … Four Cheese Lasagna, Chicken Curry, Lamb Koftas, Shepherds Pie,  Chicken Breasts With Prosciutto and Cheese, Tamale Casserole With Masa, Pork and Lima Bean Casserole … and a few more supper dishes. And while I’m writing this up … I’m also doing my other love of cooking … Smoking!! With my little friend – a Weber Smoky Mountain Smoker – I’m doing a whole chicken, a 3-pound beef top sirloin roast, and a 3-pound pork loin. Oh, and with turkeys on sale this weekend … a 10-pounder coming up later this week. So there will be lots of leftovers being used in more recipes in the coming weeks. So, busy, busy, busy ...
