This will be a short update … had an emergency at work that lasted over 5 hours to fix … I hate it when work gets in the way of blogging!! 
More about work in a couple of weeks … things are changing for the better!! March has come in like a lion … snow flurries this afternoon, but only about another month to go … and then it will be April A little sad, this is usually the time of year that we go to Mexico or on a cruise … maybe in 2022 The COVID situation has relaxed a bit here in Ontario … in London we have gone back today to Orange (restricted) from Red … doesn’t really mean much except for being able to eat in restaurants and go to the gym … and who needs a gym membership when you have Doug the Dog for exercise!! I see Trump is back in denial and stirring up the pot down south in the U.S. – that man is scary, hope this doesn’t escalate into a civil war … 
Okay, on to food … a mixture of odds and ends – had the Beef Rendang as leftovers with rice and pineapple; had the Chicken Enchiladas as leftovers (even tastier the second time around); made a Beef Sirloin Tip Roast with potatoes and onions yesterday … and just for fun, roasted Brussel sprouts in the air fryer Experimented with our first smoothies with the Vitamix … will definitely be doing that again … I mean 60 seconds to make a smoothie!! ...Oh, and also did a Cream of Asparagus Soup in the Vitamix as well ... excellent!! 😊 Doing Chicken Drumsticks with Enchilada Sauce on the BBQ tonight … will have a Caesar Salad with that. The beef sirloin tips were on sale this week – so I bought six, looks like I’ll be smoking beef this coming weekend!! Kelly and I are still watching ‘Longmire’ – we are into Season 4 now – the shows and the scripts changed a fair bit since Netflix took over. I binge watched ‘Hache’ – a Spanish Netflix Original series about the booming heroin trafficking in southern Spain in 1960 – the set design, costumes, and soundtrack are excellent!! … And the show is pretty good too … 2 Seasons, 14 episodes total … there will probably be a Season 3. Oh, and the audio is a mix of Spanish, French, Italian, and English to make it more authentic … so lots of translation practice for me!! I started a new Columbian Netflix Original Series – ‘ Perdita’ (‘Lost’) – excellent story about a Spanish couple whose daughter was kidnapped 11 years ago … and the man tracks a lead to Columbia and gets sent intentionally to prison to locate the kidnapper. There were two PGA events this past week – one World Golf Championship – Colin Morikawa won, congrats to him – and one in Puerto Rico – Branden Grace won that, congrats – it was emotional for him, his father just passed away . …And at both tournaments there was an outpouring of support for Tiger Woods … a lot of people wearing his traditional red outfit … I don’t like him personally, but he has done a lot for the game – so get better, Tiger!! Oh, and speaking of outfits ... I tried on two more Doodle shirts (vacation shirts I got from Zeke but they seem to have shrunk in the wash) ... and they fit!!
