The picture in the corner? Nothing to do with the week, but Kelly framed some pictures from the cruise last month, and we think this is the best of the bunch 🙂 Well, Seattle couldn’t pull it off last Sunday night … but they came close, they owned the second half, but just fell short. Maybe next year … So for the NFC Conference tonight I’ll root for … no-one … can’t stand either San Francisco or Green Bay. Doesn’t matter anyways … Tennessee will beat Kansas today and probably win the Super Bowl in two weeks time 
The week was strange weather wise –sunny and spring like through Friday afternoon – then the snow came – Winter is here. I had to get the snowblower out yesterday – primed it, pulled the start cord … nothing. Looked at the 8 inch accumulation in the driveway … pulled the cord again … nothing. I checked the gas … most of it had evaporated over the summer … pulled the cord again … nothing. So, I took out the shovel … spent over an hour clearing the driveway … way too old for this … body hurts now like you wouldn’t believe … finished up … looked at the snow blower again … and thought … oh, nooo … I didn’t check the oil level. Poured in 8 ounces of 10w30 … took one pull … and, you guessed it … started right away 
Good thing I cleared it out though, we got a little freezing rain last night with a little more snow … everything frozen over … but no real accumulation in the driveway. So didn’t need the snowblower. This morning we took Zeke the Dog out for a short walk … looked at the end of the driveway … the snowplow had filled it in … one foot of solid compacted ice … got the shovel out again … getting wayyy too old for this … time to move to Mexico. Could have been worse … did you see the snow that Newfoundland got?? That 5-pound 5 cheese lasagna from last Sunday? … somehow disappeared throughout the week. I have added a new recipe … Chicken Piccata … easy and quick to make (like 5 minutes prep, 15 minutes cook time) and very tasty. Since we were snowed in the last couple of days haven’t had a chance to do grocery shopping … had to break out the steaks and roasts that we had in the freezer. Kelly rearranged the kitchen freezer today … I’m not allowed to buy any more meat for about 3 months As we had finished watching ‘Tabula Rasa’ last week we needed to find a new series … it was pretty much hit and miss with the next few ones we tried. ‘Parfum’ (German), lasted one episode … didn’t enjoy it; … ‘The Method’ (Russian) takes a while to get into it … I like it a lot … Kelly not so much; ‘BorderLiner’ (Norwegian), … I’m watching by myself … it’s okay, but not great. I’ve written some short reviews on all 3 on the website. Still studying my languages for two hours a day, minimum – I’ve had to switch to doing 7 one day, the other 7 the next (I’ve lost a couple of languages somewhere – haven’t checked out Icelandic or Turkish in weeks). I'm adding some travel phrases in German and Swedish to the site ... should be up in a couple of days ... Have a great week … go Titans!!
