May is going by fast … the Victoria Day (we call it May 24) weekend is only a week away… it’s early this year falling on the 18th … and a shout out to our Norwegian friends as the 17th is their Constitution Day … Nasjonaldagen … they usually have childrens’ parades and such … not sure how they will handle it during the pandemic 
Celebrated a little Cinco de Mayo last Tuesday … made pulled beef soft tacos on homemade tortillas with fresh guacamole. Yesterday had Kelly’s home-made burgers with two types of cheese … Zeke the Dog had his own burger, of course. Thursday Kelly made curried chicken livers with rice - might sound strange, but delicious!! We had leftovers on the other days … smoked chicken with pasta, enchiladas, etc. … can’t cook something new everyday and have the freezer filling up with leftovers 
Doing my version of Chicken Cacciatore for dinner tonight … add some olives and capers to it … different, but delicious I kept up with watching Russian series on Netflix this past week – finished Season 1 of ‘Better Than Us’ … it was so good I updated my review to 5 out of 5 paws … I’ve run out of Russian series on Netflix … so I watched a Polish movie, ‘The Plagues of Breslau’ - a pretty gory police drama set in present day Wroclaw … and a series, ‘1983’ … an alternative history police political drama that’s about what might have happened if Solidarity hadn’t taken hold back in the early ‘80’s … extremely well done - I finished it last night ... riveting story and I gave it 5 paws. It was interesting to see places I have been back in the ’90’s … and got thoroughly lost in … with my niece … but that’s an upcoming story … or possibly a five part novel … Brenda and I got lost a fair bit Kelly and I watched and finished ‘Collaboration’ on Netflix – it was pretty good for a British series … haven’t seen too many of them lately. And we started Season 2 of ‘Dead To Me’ … watched the first season last year and really enjoyed it. Season 3 of ‘Bordertown’ is starting tomorrow… can’t wait for that … one of the best series on Netflix … and get to practice my Finnish. Have to go cut up some vegetables … get the Cacciatore going … Have a great and safe week … we will see you in a bit!!
