Hot and Spicy Chicken 5

Picture in the corner? Kelly and I in Mazatlan March 2019 – in 5 weeks we’ll be re-enacting the shot again 😊 Second picture? Angel Kelly in Durango last year ... won't be re-enacting that one ... 115 bridges and 61 tunnels, 7000 feet of elevation to get there ... and then back ...uh, can't see it happening. So sad … no more NFL football for another six months ☹ So, spent the afternoon watching the PGA tournament at Pebble Beach … and a Canadian won!! … for the first time ever at Pebble Beach … Nick Taylor first wire to wire at the Pro-Am since 2005!! That gets him into the Masters and PGA Championship this year. Only 1 new recipe up this week (Chinese Hot Spicy Chicken) – Kelly did most of the cooking this week – stews, stuffed peppers, steak salad – but I didn’t get the recipes and pictures ☹. Had lots of snow this past weekend, but no where near the amount everybody else got in Ontario and the Eastern Seaboard. Did 4 foreign Netflix reviews - ‘The Crime‘ (Polish with English subtitles 6 episodes) … not bad, but not great; ‘Nobel’ (Norwegian with English subtitles 8 episodes) … excellent … it’s about Norway’s involvement in Afghanistan; ‘Fallet’ (Swedish and English – 8 episodes) … hilarious spoof of Nordic Noir crime shows; ‘You Cannot Hide’ (Spanish with English Subtitles – 10 episodes) … I like it – cheesy Telenovela style thriller; and finished watching ‘The Stranger’ (English, kind of, their accents are really, really bad) … another new series based on a book by Harlan Coben … horrible, horrible, horrible … and did I mention … horrible. Plot is all over the place and unbelievable, poor acting, and you never really care about the characters … not a nice one in the bunch. However, nice to see Stephen Rea in there (from ‘The Crying Game’) and Paul Kay (from ‘Lilyhammer’) ☹ Have a great week … go … ‘Leafs!! (actually saw them win a game, and lose a game (in overtime) this week … new goalie Jack Campbell looks good )
